I still have some work to do before I can present you my new collection, but in the meantime I would like to share a part of the jewelry making process…

When we want to make a shape that can not be made directly from metal, either by proportions, shapes, movements or because we want to make more than one piece, we use the wax molding technique. It is a handmade sculptural process to obtain the same shape from metal by making a mold from the wax prototype.  This technique, lost-wax casting, already used in the antiquity, continues to be used in contemporary artisan jewelry.

I enjoy to use this technique as it opens infinite creative possibilites. Shortly, I will present you the new collection.
